Work Editorial's Theo Mercado Edits New Coca-Cola x Converse Campaign "Everyone's a Chuck"
November 5, 2025Coca-Cola and Converse are teaming up for a new global capsule collection that puts fizz in the footwear.
The campaign launches with a film directed by Bradley Calder starring rapper Vince Staples as “Chuck,” a personification of Converse’s signature shoe, the Chuck Taylor. With stills shot by Sam Balaban, the campaign—themed “Everyone’s a Chuck”—leans into the idea of self-expression through both sneakers and soda bottles, casting Staples as the connective thread between the two cultural mainstays.
The collection itself reimagines Coca-Cola’s most recognizable design cues—the swooping ribbon, the red-and-white palette and even the glint of green from vintage glass bottles—across Converse apparel, accessories and sneakers. The headliner is a limited-edition Chuck 70, a premium take on the classic silhouette offered only in Coca-Cola red.
