‘I knew I wanted to get into film in some capacity in high school. Like many other filmmakers my age, I got a Hi-8 camera for Christmas and made music videos and short films with my friends. We put them on DVDs and sold them to kids and teachers at school for $5. We were able to buy new tapes, FireWire 400 to 800 cables, and a very nice external DVD burner with that money.’
