Arts & Sciences' Daniel & Szymon Direct Erste Group's Christmas Parable, "Carry the Light"

The 'Carry the Light' spot produced by Arts & Sciences and created by Jung von Matt DONAU tells Mary and Joseph’s journey through the eyes of a small donkey, highlighting compassion, determination, and the power of inner light.

This year’s Christmas advert from Erste Group, the Central and Eastern Europe banking group, has told a tale inspired by one of the most fabled journeys ever undertaken: Mary and Joseph’s travels to Bethlehem. At centre of 'Carry the light' is a small donkey that goes through hardships – until he plays a crucial role in a story that has become defining for many people across generations and throughout the world.
