Park Pictures Produces A Message of Unity With Saype For AddressHate Activation

May 22, 2025

In a world increasingly shaped by digital hostility and societal fragmentation, AddressHate emerged with a bold, poetic gesture: a monumental artwork by Franco-Swiss artist Saype, known for his biodegradable land art in more than 20 countries. Initiated by the Laterman Family Foundation with live production elements by Park Pictures, New Yorkers were invited to view Saype’s floating artwork, a manifestation of AddressHate Initiative’s global mission.

Saype’s work, widely shared across the globe, consistently generates a viral and positive impact, with thousands sharing images of his giant symbols of unity, now visually echoing the values carried by the Laterman Family Foundation’s AddressHate Initiative. Rooted in a shared digital space, the foundation aims to reclaim imagination, not incite division. Known for his deeply committed work on environmental, humanist, and social causes, Saype was a natural ally to give visual form to the movement.

From a peaceful waterfront location, New Yorkers and visitors admired Saype’s message of unity and hope on Mother’s Day weekend from May 9 to May 11. The floating ephemeral artwork was stationed and visible on the Hudson River from the public Pier 57 Rooftop Park and the Little Island's Vista Point.

Saype remarks, “This project is a step toward a new alliance between creativity and responsibility. Art can offer the space to breathe again — and to believe in something common.”
